Supervisor as defined by the Oxford Dictionary is “A Person who directs and oversees another person or an activity”. They are the Frontline Leaders who work with People; Equipment & Machinery that Make things an Organisation exists for. The Primary reason the Customer Pays and that which Reflects as Revenue in its Financials.
These Supervisors need to be
equipped with the right skill
set that is a healthy balance
of Technical & Soft Skills. We
term this as the Functional
Skill Set.
This program has been developed with such intent in consultation with the Industry
Experts. The eight modules
have been put together in a
manner that while each one is
an enabler by itself, the sequence and flow binds them
together as a formidable
package for the Supervisor to deliver his role comprehensively.
Key Features of the Program
The Program is divided into two sections. The first section will train the Managers of the Supervisors along with the skills of Training. These managers will then be part of the trainers along with Subject Matter Experts for imparting to the Supervisors.
Train the Trainer :
The program will be on the lines of Train the Trainer Concept. This enables them to be good advocators. When these Managers are themselves part of the delivery, the Supervisors will find it relatively easy to follow and deploy.
Assessments :
The Participants will be assessed through written tests upon completion of each session. The assessments will be timed in such a way that the evaluation is based on both the Theoretical understanding & the Practical Deployment.
Management Review :
The progress of the program will be formally reviewed with the Top Management at fixed intervals. These reviews will ensure alignment of the Program with the Business Objectives and to Measure its Effectiveness.
